Love.
Verb. to have love or affection for; to have a profoundly tender, passionate affection for; to have a strong liking for; take great pleasure in; to need or require; benefit greatly from; to embrace and kiss (someone)
That one little word packs a punch, eh? It can inspire hope and sadness, excitement and fear, calm and anxiousness. Love is an intense emotion, and today, we are celebrating it – warts and all. Why? Because without love, this world would be a boring place. Our couriers Dallas wouldn’t love their jobs, their routes, their clients, their kids, their spouses, their siblings. We wouldn’t love our dogs, music, chocolate chip cookies. We wouldn’t call our friends during hard times, send flowers just because or text a compassionate message to a just-empty-nester parent.
Love. It does make our world go round. Say what you will, but this day is fun to celebrate. So, today, I am honoring the things our medical couriers Dallas, food couriers Dallas, route deliveries Dallas teams, and rush deliveries Dallas teams all love. Hold onto your hats, it’s a get-to-know-your-courier-company kind of day!
On Valentine’s Day, we are celebrating our love for: our clients, steaks, warm coats, fireflies, comfy socks, chocolate shakes, lemony water, children, rainy weekends, uplifting books, fresh flowers, action movies about driving, pugs, round-a-bout, manis/pedis, homemade ice-cream, Fantasy Football, good rivalries, DIY furniture, baked goodies, no-hassle car inspections, finding a quarter just when you need to pay the parking meter, pulled pork tacos, a day at the beach, finding new hot spots in Dallas, riding a horse, a cold glass of water after a long run, midday walks, traveling without an agenda, abstract art, kids smiling, compassionate people, worthy causes, healthy doctors visits, fashion know-how, a competitive yet friendly game of Scrabble, playing tennis even if you’re bad, buying local produce, hazelnut coffee, riding a bike, not being late, buying someone’s lunch just because, forgiving others and ourselves, smartphones, being a friend, eating less sodium and preservatives, dreaming big, singing out loud in the shower and in the car, visiting new babies, being a cheerful giver, collecting shells, pizza, dog parks, Mexican food, slumber parties, sisters, good news, baseball season, picnics, engagements, random acts of kindness, big tips, caramel, candles, Tervis Tumblers, romance, (good) email forwards, reupholstered furniture, wisteria, slippers, New Year’s Eve parties, volunteerism, barbecues, pool parties, mountains, bluebonnets, Texas, skipping, burgers, love.
If you read that whole list, you are my favorite person… EVER. Happy Valentine’s Day!
