DFW Valentine’s Day Deliveries: Ideas & Such

Think you’re the only one prepping for Valentine’s Day? Think again! Our team at Eagle Express has been prepping for the big day for a while now. Why? Because Valentine’s deliveries are very, very, very important.
If you haven’t noticed, people (okay, mostly women) want to be romanced on Valentine’s. You want to know what isn’t romantic? Forgetting the big day.
So, our DFW Valentine’s deliveries experts are here to save the day. We’ve got ideas – and good ones, I might add. Since each year we spend Valentine’s week making all kinds of romantic deliveries, we know a thing or two about making the day extra special. So, to keep you on the pedestal, here are some bright ideas for sweetening up Valentine’s Day:
- Cook. Sure an evening out on the town is lovely, but sometimes the most romantic thing you can do is an evening in – no laundry, dishes, vacuuming or dusting. It’s nice to just enjoy each other’s company at home without the annoyance of chores and such. So, my advice is to recreate a memorable dinner – whether it was an engagement, first date or simply a fun time spent together. A few years ago, my hubby recreated a date we had while traveling in Spain – paella, machego cheese and of course, Spanish wine.
- Spa Day. Send your sweetie to a spa for the day. What woman doesn’t love a massage and mani/pedi? That’s a trick question – they all do. And here’s a great kick-back, you send her to the spa and send yourself to the golf course. Then, you both join up for a romantic dinner for two after a day of relaxation (barring any difficulties on the golf course).
- Fun, fun, fun! Who says that love has to be sitting around staring in each other’s eyes and saying things like, “you’re so awesome” and “you’re my heart’s truest desire.” While those things are great and all, sometimes the true recipe for love is spelled F-U-N. Some ideas: kayaking, farmer’s market, playing tennis, taking the dogs to a dog park, buying a trampoline (my latest obsession), run a half marathon, paint a bedroom, go to a yoga class, ride the trolley downtown, go biking, go to the Arboretum, head to White Rock Lake… you get the idea here. Spruce up Valentine’s Day with some local favorites.
- Deliver. Show your sweetie some love by delivering him or her something tasty or beautiful on this Valentine’s. Since February 14 lands on a Tuesday this year, consider the following: a personalized cake or cookies, his/her favorite flavor of popcorn, flowers (yes, you can branch out from roses), a thoughtful card or a romantic movie. But the point is, if you choose to have something delivered, be sure to choose wisely between courier companies in Dallas. You don’t want just anyone handling your important Valentine’s Day deliveries Dallas! Be sure you choose the best couriers in DFW – Eagle Express!
