Couriers Dallas: X Games Xcellence

Did you watch the X Games last night? If you didn’t, you need to youtube Shaun’s White AMAZING run on the SuperPipe. Whoops, did I say amazing? I meant to say PERFECT.
The ‘it’ man of snowboarding threw down a perfect run last night, even after he had already secured the gold with a 94.00 run. With his red hair flying and his zebra-inspired pants (hello, new snowboarding fashion trend), White redefines the SuperPipe every time he competes. He makes it look easy. He is flawless – literally. The judges could find nothing wrong with his final run – a perfect 100.00.
Let me give you the very cool details: White did back-to-back double corks – making history. White does what other boarders wouldn’t dare. He goes where no others have gone before. He attempts the seemingly impossible – which is why as we strive to be the best of all courier companies in Dallas– we like him. (Okay, we love him!).
One quote from White: “It's unreal. I've been wanting that 100 forever.”
Why do we gravitate to people like Shaun White? Here is my two cents:
- He never settles for less. Even after he had already clenched the gold medal with a 94, he gave his last run his all. He never gives up or slows down because the win isn’t on the line. It reminds me of our 4 hour Dallas deliveries team. Even though they have four hours to get it done, they still work just as hard as if it was a 45 minute delivery.
- Inventive. He has invented countless tricks in snowboarding. And we like that. As couriers Dallas, people often think that we only deliver small packages. Sure, some couriers do that, but not Eagle Express. We are a like Shaun White. We invent new ways of helping our clients. From Dallas warehouse and distribution services to food deliveries Dallas, we are always looking to expand our business.
- Perseverance. People want an athletic hero who works hard even through difficulties. After White sprained his ankle early in the X Games, many doubted his participation in the SuperPipe. But not so with Shaun White. He came out with a vengeance – persevering through the physical and mental adversity of an injury.
- Cool. We have to put this one as a reason we gravitate toward Shaun White – he is just too darn cool. He is confident and comfortable in his own skin, something I can’t say for too many people. Here’s to embracing individualism and self confidence that isn’t prideful.
We are proud of Shaun White, and aspire to be more and more like him. At Eagle Express, we believe in being persistent, passionate, daring, confident and cool. Maybe one day you’ll see deliveries as an X Games competition… until then, here’s to hoping!
