Dallas Courier: A Deviled Easter

I bet this Dallas courier blog title has you sayin, “huh?!” A deviled Easter? Easter should be about colored eggs, sunrise church services, candy, bunnies, cascarones, and all around happiness. It shouldn’t be deviled… or should it?
Of course it should! Easter should always be deviled because of DEVILED EGGS. I don’t know about you, but our Dallas courier service team members love deviled eggs. They are the perfect little Easter treat. I do however find it incredibly ironic that they are named after the devil. But oh well! They are fabulously tasty.
So, I figured our Dallas courier blog today would be about my favorite deviled egg recipe for Easter. I hope you and our Dallas couriers try these for your family’s Easter Sunday this year. They are a major crowd pleaser.
Delectable Dallas Courier Deviled Eggs
Ingredients:
- 6 hard-cooked eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- Fresh dill sprigs
Directions:
- Slice eggs in half lengthwise; remove yolks and set whites aside. In a small bowl, mash yolks. Add the mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, dill, garlic powder and salt.
- Spoon into egg whites. Garnish with dill sprigs if desired. Refrigerate until serving.
My favorite part about these Delectable Dallas Courier Deviled Eggs? The Dill. Oh. My. Gosh. It is so scrumptious! The Dill adds the extra kick needed to take these little babies to the next level.
Here is one more fun tip to make these deviled eggs Easter-ready. Using food coloring, dye the yolk Easter colors! My family does pink, yellow and orange. Put Easter grass on the plate, and put the pretty eggs in the grass. Presentation = check. Outrageous flavor = double check.
I hope this blog post inspires you and our Dallas couriers to be ready for this Sunday. What a special, food and family-filled day!
